Terms and Conditions
Group Size : We are very proud of the exclusive nature of our trip and escorted vacation packages, and the way in which we are able to create a memorable small group tour experience in Britain for our guests. In order to best do this, and to ensure that all participants have the trip of a lifetime, we limit our group size to between 2 and 8 people. If group size is larger, please contact us for more info.
Tipping : Experienced travelers know that tipping is expected around the world, and in different amounts for differing services. We at 'Afoot In Britain', make it a little easier for our guests by including all tips and gratuities, for our drivers, staff, and guides within our prices. However some guests still like to leave a little something, when they wish to show gratitude for exemplary service and skills. This should be done at your own discretion.
Escorted Tour or Vacation Price Guarantee : Our exclusive escorted small group tour prices do not include airfares, rail fares or hotel fees, and are subject to change without notice, due to the unpredictability of international currency values. However your trip price will be locked in and guaranteed at the moment that we receive your deposit.
Whats Included On Your Personal Small Group Tour in Britain? : Pickup and drop off at your International Airport or Rail Station. All chauffeured sightseeing tours by our local and knowledgeable guides. Liquid refreshments aboard the vehicle. All tolls, gasoline/petrol, insurance and taxes.
Trip/ Vacation Payments : To reserve dates on an 'Afoot In Britain' vacation package, you must agree to all of our 'terms and conditions' and provide us with a 40% deposit of the groups total. We accept all major credit cards through our online card processing company 'Paypal'. We accept personal checks when provided with address and drivers license number on reverse of check. We accept bankers drafts and wire transfers. All final trip/vacation balances must be paid in full by personal check or bankers draft ONLY. Your final tour payment will be due 8 weeks before your arrival. If you sign up for an escorted tour or vacation within the 8 weeks, then full payment must be made before your confirmation can be made, and the deposit portion will be non-refundable. Failing to make the final payment will result in you and your group/family being removed from the trip/vacation and forfeiting your deposit. Please make note of your 'final payment due' date, as it is your responsibility to comply with these requirements.

Cancellations and Refunds : Deposits for all tours and vacations in Britain are 100% refundable if your cancellation has been made within 14 days of your intitial booking. After that the deposit will be forfeit and non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing to us via email to afootinbritain@gmail.com or via postal mail to A Foot In Britain, c/o M. Seymour, La Lardrie, St Jacut Les Pins, 56220, Bretagne, France.
Illness and Health : If you become ill on one of our guided tours for any reason, and have to return to the United States or the UK, understand that it is the responsibility of all participants to be aware of their own physical abilities, and to be in sufficiently good health to participate in our activities. You should be able to walk unassisted for 3-4 hours, often over uneven footpaths. If you have questions about specific activities, please call us. We will endeavour to make changes for you, wherever possible. Any pre-existing condition, ailment, debility or sickness, must be reported to us in writing prior to the your start date. Although it is not obligatory to participate in any of our group activities and excursions, not doing so, isn't cause for a refund. We have a 'strict' No Smoking policy onboard all of our transportation. However, guests who do smoke may do so, outside and away from our other guests.
Insurance Coverage and Liabilities : Afoot In Britain encourages you to purchase travel and health insurance coverage. It is important to check with your medical provider to understand the protections that you may or may not have whilst travelling abroad. We can accept no liability for injury, damage, delay, loss or accident in connection with 'Afoot In Britain' vacation packages. Neither, can we accept liability for losses or additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in your personal travel arrangements, to and from the 'Afoot In Britain' destination. We reserve the right to cancel the entire package without notice, prior to your departure, in which case the entire payment will be refunded, without any further obligations or liabilities, on our part. We also reserve the right to remove a person from the trip/vacation if it is deemed that the removal is in the best interests of the participants health and safety, and that of the group in general. No refund will be made in this eventuality.
Packing and Luggage : All participants should be able to comfortably handle their luggage over short distances. Our representatives will, generally be on hand to assist you, but the key is not to overload yourself. Pack Light !
Booking : When ready to make a booking, call us to discuss available dates. The numbers and email addresses are available Here. When you have notified us of your dates, and we have checked to ascertain the availability of those dates, we will email you a 'Booking Form', with more details on how to pay. This will also be considered the 'Confirmation Sheet'. Once this has been signed by you, and returned to us with the deposit, then your 'booking' will have been made. The 'confirmation' will be mailed to you, once your check, bankers draft or credit card payment has been cleared
